Annual Fund A gift to the Annual Fund provides support for the cultural and educational programs presented at Highfield Hall, and helps guarantee that the building and grounds will be given proper care and maintenance to ensure their long-term preservation. These funds are used to cover operating expenses, the cost of programs and development, maintenance and landscape expenses, marketing fees, and utility bills. Historic Highfield appreciates gifts of any size to support the Annual Fund.

Members of the Highfield Circle donate $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund. These donors play a leadership role in providing Highfield Hall with the means to successfully present programs, exhibitions, concerts, and educational activities for the benefit of the surrounding community. Highfield Circle members are honored each year on a Highfield Circle recognition sign on display at Highfield Hall.

Memorial Gifts
Remembering your loved one through a memorial gift to Highfield Hall ensures that their memory will live on. When Historic Highfield, Inc. is designated as the recipient of memorial gifts, your loved one will be remembered through the Tanglewood Society. The Society is named after Highfield Hall’s sister house, Tanglewood, which was torn down in 1977: Gone but never forgotten. As a member of the Tanglewood Society, your loved one’s name will be permanently added to our roster of Tanglewood Society members, which is on display at Highfield Hall. The gifts will be used to support the long-term preservation of the estate and will provide a lasting legacy to your loved one.

The appropriate organization information for designating memorial gifts is: Historic Highfield, Inc., P.O. Box 494, Falmouth, MA 02541. To further discuss memorial donations in honor of your loved one, please email director@highfieldhall.org or call Barbara Milligan (508) 495-1878.

Endowment Gifts
An endowment campaign will be the next big fundraising venture of Historic Highfield. A five million dollar endowment is needed to help provide additional funds for our operating and preservation budgets and to ensure the long-term care and upkeep of Highfield Hall. We will be happy to discuss possible gifts with you and also show you how a gift through your estate can benefit the Highfield endowment.

Planned Giving
Planned giving is a way to consider gifts to charity that may have a positive affect on your estate. Your estate does not have to be large or complicated in order to consider a planned gift – in fact, a charitable gift can even be structured to provide you with income for life. Planned gifts can help maximize tax savings for you and your heirs, and can help you achieve your financial and personal goals. Planned gifts can not only include cash, but real estate, appreciated stocks, trusts, retirement funds, and life insurance.
